It's not like the Avengers are going to drop in to fix it. They've probably got world saving things to do.

[ You and your chanting. :| FINE. He'll just sigh and watch. ]

Yeah, and we could have non-cake-cleaning things to do. [ There's a frown as he squints and shields his eyes while he stares at the sky. ] You know you're not going to solve the problem unless you make the rain stop too, right?

[The area around them clears up for now and Billy looks up with a concerned frown.] I'm going to have to concentrate tons for that. It's really coming down.

[ Pointed look towards the nearest house-structure-thing. ]

Or we could just go inside.

But the city's in trouble. [Gestures helplessly at a woman covered in paint.] Give me five minutes, okay?

I dunno, people seem to be doing okay. [He gets you on the saving the city stuff, he really does, but COME ON BILLY, IT'S JUST CAKE.

....Five minutes? And you won't do anything stupid?

Nope. [And then he's flying up into the air, making sure to dodge falling cake.] I'll see you in five!

You know what Teddy's gonna do? He's gonna sit down in a little alcove somewhere, and start making towers of cake. And he's gonna mentally count down each second until five minutes, and if Billy isn't back by then, he's going to assume that the other boy's gone and done something stupid yet again and hulk out go into green mode and start hunting him down.

Which, is a lot of effort, so it'd be very nice if Billy could just come back in one piece before the five minutes are up. ]

[ Looks up, and pauses in his tower building to get up and do a very thorough scan of Billy, who appears to be mostly unhurt. Which is very good. ]

That things would be a hundred times cooler if it was raining Captain America plushies than cake?

Yeah, that one's a given. [And he would've hoarded them all.]

But what I was thinking we should go somewhere. Anywhere! Name a place and it'll be our kinda-sorta-romantic getaway.
